Here’s the (lazy) pattern:
R1: *dc, ch1* 6 times
R2: *3dc in ch1 sp, ch1* 6 times
R3: *3dc, ch1, 3dc all in ch1 sp* 6 times
R4: 1dc in each previous dc, *dc, ch1, dc* in ch1 sp (8 dc per side)
R5: same as R4 (10 dc per side)

I am now taking bets on whether or not this blanket will be finished in time for Big On Bloor.
As for yesterday’s post, well, I’ve lost the sunshine for the day, so just imagine that broomstick lace blanket as being twice as big as it was the last time you saw it, and imagine that rainbow round ripple blanket in the state you last saw it as well. ^_^

I thought it would take a lot longer than it did. Here was my secret: double strands and a big hook. Everyone should try this!
A lot of you guessed (although, not in the comments! *shakes a fist*) correctly that this is a Settlers of Catan blanket. To answer the most frequently asked question about it: no, I won’t be making the cities and settlements and roads, etc. It would take forever and besides, the goal here wasn’t to make a soft, giant, usable playing board. The goal was to make a blanket!
