As my fiance can attest, I exclaimed many times while trying this out, "honestly, why not just learn to knit with needles???" It is still my belief that if you are a crocheter who wants to learn to knit, your best bet is to start with short needles or circulars and spend a little extra time figuring out continental style. I tried it mostly to see what the fuss was and to add a technique to my skill set.
