Fast and Loose

I’ve been playing some more with the “Oddly Linked” stitch from the blanket in the previous post. I’ve adapted it, somewhat, to the Tunisian Crochet technique and am making a shawl-sized swatch to test it out.

Here’s a preview:

It looks very different from the blanket, mostly because I’ve gone up a hook size (from 5mm to 6mm) and down a yarn size (from 4 – worsted to 3 – light)

The right-hand increase side looks lovely

I have an idea to sort that all out, though!

    That’s lovely!!! I can’t wait to see your finished shawl!!

    It would make a nice airy blanket too really. I know, I like airy throw blankets…

    Making it in a rectangle shape would fix the “ugly increases” problem, too. ^_^
