More Experiments

I had a flash of inspiration yesterday, and I’m quite pleased with the outcome!

My question to you: is this new to you, or have I reinvented the wheel?

I’m not a crocheter, so I’ve no idea if that’s new or not, but I have to say, I think it’s really really pretty!! It also looks terribly complicated! wow.

Looks nice and delicate. Nice for a tube top.

But … what did you do to get the effect? Does the slant section between horizontals represent one row, four rows, or something else? It’s beautiful: quite a puzzle, without a few more hints.

You’re in luck! I’m planning on releasing the pattern by the end of this month. Keep an eye on the blog for the announcement. The pattern will include all of the information you’ll need to make this blanket, and a variation on this theme (with various widths of colours) for slightly different styles of blankets.

I’m aiming for June 24th ish, but the weather in Toronto has to clear up before I can take some necessary pictures. The pattern will be available on Ravelry for sure (if you don’t have an account yet, you should sign up now, it’s a great site! ravelry.com ) and possibly on Etsy, but I haven’t decided on that for sure yet.

    I hope everyone likes it!
