Dad’s Birthday (observed)

Today I traveled to Hamilton to visit my family. We celebrated my Dad’s birthday today with a big turkey dinner, with apple pie for dessert. His birthday is actually on Tuesday, so I hope it’s a good one for him!

I haven’t done any crafting yet today, though I do have a baby blanket on the go here at my parents’ house.
Girl colours, ripple baby blanket
This is the same pattern as the last ripple baby blanket I posted, but I’m using pink, peach, and yellow on this one.

On the bus ride into Hamilton I was reading this (for the second time).

I *highly* recommend the Yarn Harlot books. I haven’t read all of them (*yet*), but the four I have read are fabulous. You can go to her blog to tide you over between book releases, too.

What are you waiting for? Go check it out!
