I have several projects on the go. The first is a charity project facilitated by my Mom’s sorority. We’re making hats, scarves, and mitts for elementary school-aged children.
Since Mom neither knits nor crochets, she buys the yarn and gives it to me to make things.

Here is the pattern for your enjoyment: Use the red round loom and thick yarn. E-wrap until your fabric measures 6 inches, fold the bottom up and put the first loops back on the loom (careful not to twist), lift bottom loops over top loops, then continue e-wrapping until the hat (not including the brim) measures 6 inches. Drawstring cast off. Weave in ends.
I recently acquired a lot of yarn to make more of these, so look forward to seeing more of these!

I like the hat you made for me :) That thick band around the bottom keeps me ears warm. Ian is very happy with his too.
